The Challenge
Jamaica's school inspection process was heavily paper-based — inspectors visited schools, completed paper forms, and reports were manually compiled and published with significant delays. There was no centralised data, no real-time visibility for the Ministry, and no mechanism for schools to access their own inspection history or improvement recommendations.
The Ministry needed a platform that would digitise the end-to-end inspection workflow — from planning and scheduling through to on-site data collection, report generation, and public publication — while managing the change across a national workforce of inspectors and school leadership teams.
